2018 Centenary of the end of World War One – Schools’ Art Competition

We have received a letter from Rustington Parish Council thanking us for the entries we submitted from Year 5 pupils for the Schools’ Art Competition last academic year. All of the entries were judged by Members of the Councils’ Committee and due to the outstanding standard of entries received, it was decided there should be a winner from each of the schools that entered, with Runners-Up prizes being awarded to four pupils in our school. Huge congratulations to these pupils who were presented with book tokens in our whole school assembly last Monday. Arrangements are currently being made with the Museum Manager in the hope that all of the art work can be displayed in the area, soon to be home to Rustington Museum, at the Samuel Wickens Centre in the Broadmark Lane Car Park. Thank you to all of the staff involved and to all of the pupils who participated in this competition. Well done everyone!
