Dragons' Den

This is the fourth year we have taken part in Dragons’ Den week since our locality schools first pioneered the concept back in 2017. This year was as successful as ever and children demonstrated great entrepreneurialism as they worked together in year groups to design, pitch, make and sell a product or service of their choice. The week culminated in our Summerlea Market and the results announced in last week’s assembly as follows:

1st place: Year 3 (badges & magnets) with a total profit of £129.92

2nd place: : Year 6 (milkshakes) with a total profit of £91.00

3rd place: Year 2 (natural bird feeders) with a total profit of £90.02

Overall a brilliant £508.92 was raised which will be spent on new maths resources and equipment chosen by the winning year group. Well done to all of the children and thank you for your support.
