Fantastic Fundraising Fiesta!

Fantastic Fundraising Fiesta!

Our annual Fundraising Fiesta proved to be just as successful as previous years, raising £1013.95 for some incredibly worthwhile charities, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Ferring Country Centre, Dogs Trust and the MS Society.  Fundraising stalls and activities included tasty treats for cats and dogs, a vast selection of delicious cakes and biscuits (these stalls were particularly popular with members of staff!), Lolly Pop Pick, Pick-a-Carrot and Tin Can Alley.  Visitors to the stall were serenaded by Ellie and Megan on their ukuleles, raising money for Cancer Research.  The unpredictable British weather did not put off the plucky fundraisers who set up their stalls on our Key Stage One playground so that visitors could enjoy ‘Penalty Shoot Out’ and ‘Get a Hole in One’.  We were also thrilled to have two special visitors attend the Fiesta – Max and his hearing dog Chloe visited Max’s sister Teagan, who was raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.  Organised and run by our Pupil Council, this year’s Fundraising Fiesta demonstrated just how caring and generous our pupils and their families are.  We would like to pass on our heartfelt thanks to all fundraisers and those who donated so generously to these worthy causes.
