We have been offered a place for my child to start in September 2024… what next?
During the summer term, the term before your child is due to start school, you will be contacted by post with an invitation to come and meet us at a 'Welcome Meeting'. We will also provide an acceptance form for your child’s place at our school and an ‘All about me’ booklet for you and your child to complete, so we can start to learn all about them.
At the Welcome Meeting we will then provide you with further information, such as;
*Dates for our Stay and Play sessions
*Date for a picnic with all the new starters and your families
*Date for a home visit by your child’s new teacher
*Information about the induction week in September
*School uniform information
*Chartwells school lunch information
*Permissions booklet
*Class Dojo login
*Tapestry login
We feel it is so important for your children to visit us in school to come and meet the EYFS team, explore our classroom settings, our lovely outdoor area and get to play and become familiar with their new school surroundings. So, we invite and encourage you to come to our Stay and Play sessions and Picnic in July. It’s also a great opportunity for you as parents to meet each other ahead of September and, of course, to meet us and ask any questions you may have. We’ll be more than happy to help.
We really can’t wait to get to meet all our new starters and start getting to know you all too!
