Fantastic Feedback!

It was a privilege to return to school after half term and receive this letter from one of the adult volunteers that attended the Year 6 residential this year (Nigel Anderson, Mr Anderson’s father):-

Re: Summerlea School Trip to Wye Valley YHA May 2018

Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to help with this year’s School Trip to the Wye Valley YHA.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would like to say that all of your Year 6 children who attended the trip impressed me greatly. It was marvellous to witness them progress through the five days, they participated in all of the tasks and adventures with great enthusiasm and it was good to see them all supporting one another through the team building activities.

The Wye Valley YHA is an excellent choice of venue, in a beautifully inspiring location with very experienced staff who really understood how to motivate and look after the children.

It was interesting to watch, through this experience away from home, how Year 6 gained confidence through the week and I feel sure they will retain many positive memories of good times with their friends. I certainly will.
