Sports Day

In keeping with typical British weather, we went from flood warnings to sun protection reminders within the space of just a couple of days! We were delighted to be able to go ahead with Sports Day on our reserve date last Friday. The sun shone, the crowds cheered and the sportsmanship was present in bucket loads.

A huge thank you and well done to everyone involved.  Special thanks to Miss Walker and the PE team for organising such a successful and smooth running day. Thanks also to the TLA PE department and their amazing sports leaders, as well as to our own sports crew who led events and supported younger children. A few ex-pupils also came along to volunteer – thank you!

Thank you to all of the staff, including Mr Strong (Premises Manager) and Mr Moore (IT Technician). Thank you also to FOSS for providing refreshments. And finally, of course, a big thank you to all of the children for brilliant behaviour and participation. Summerlea Dance Squad were great and congratulations to Ruby House for winning the cup! Thank you all for coming along – we hope you enjoyed the day!
