New Classrooms & KS1 Outdoor Covered Area
New classrooms and KS1 outdoor covered area
We hope you are as pleased as we are to see that the new modular unit, housing our two new Year 6 classrooms, arrived and was installed during the summer holidays. There is still some ‘making good’ to be done around the outside of the classrooms and a few things to arrive for inside but we are delighted that the children have been able to move in from day one. It was a pleasure to witness their excitement on sight of the new classrooms and they feel very privileged to be the first children in the school to be in them. Over the coming term the remaining area next to the classrooms (where the Key Stage 2 trim trail used to be) will be developed into an outdoor learning area and the trim trail will also be re-located. Thank you for your patience whilst this work is undertaken and we apologise in advance for any disruption. You may also have noticed that we now have a dedicated and covered outdoor learning area for our Key Stage 1 children (do go and take a look!)
A huge thank you to Mr Strong for overseeing the construction works and also to Mrs Maxted and Mr Moore for coming into school, when it was necessary, despite them being on holiday!
